Ondine is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Voiceless, the animal protection institute.
She is the author of YA fiction, Sky, (2017, The Author People) and memoir, The Miracle of Love (2013, Allen & Unwin). Sky is the first in a series of YA books about a young vegan Australian that engages youth in animal protection issues.
Ondine holds a BA in Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney, and an MA in Environmental Education from Macquarie University. She is an Ambassador for Action for Dolphins and Director of conservation NGO, This is My Earth (TiME). Ondine writes on animal protection regularly in the media and her opinion pieces have been published in Sydney Morning Herald, AlterNet, Mamamia and more.
Ondine has been profiled numerous times in Australian media. In 2012 she was Nominated by Cosmopolitan for "Fun, Fearless, Female" Award, presented the Commencement Speech for Macquarie University in 2011 and in 2009 nominated as Australia's top 10 Community Leaders by News Limited & Microsoft.
Ondine now lives in Tel Aviv with her husband and three children. Her mischievous street cats, loyal dogs and ex-battery chickens all keep her extraordinarily entertained.
