From 1997 to 2010, over 38 million kangaroos and wallabies were lawfully killed for commercial purposes.

Hundreds of thousands of female pigs in Australia are confined in small cages, continually impregnated until they are killed.

Each year approximately 800,000 dependent joeys are killed as collateral damage of the kangaroo industry.

Factory farmed meat chickens have been bred to grow at freakish rates, from chick to slaughterhouse in 35 days. Chickens naturally live between five to seven years.

About 500 million chickens are killed every year to feed Australia’s insatiable appetite for cheap chicken meat.

Pigs’ intelligence has been compared to that of a three year old child.
