Voiceless Directors jointly oversee the activities of the organisation. Drawn from a range of diverse backgrounds and experiences, Directors are united by their belief in animal protection and work collectively to guide the development of Voiceless.

Ondine Sherman

Ondine Sherman is the Managing Director and Co-founder of Voiceless in partnership with her father Brian Sherman AM.

Ondine has been profiled on numerous occasions including ABC Television's Australian Story, cover story of The Australian Financial Review Magazine, The Weekend Australian Magazine's Double Take and the Sydney Morning Herald. In 2012 she was nominated by Cosmopolitan for their "Fun, Fearless, Female" Award and featured on their website and magazine. In 2009 she was nominated by News Limited and Microsoft as one of Australia's top 10 Community Leaders and featured in The Australian.

Since 2012, with her husband, three children, two dogs and a crazy cat, Ondine lives in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Ondine is intimately involved with setting Voiceless's priorities and strategy as well as judging the Grants Program, Media Prizes and Wring Prize. Along with J.M. Coetzee, Wendy Were and Susan Wyndham, Ondine edited the 2013 Voiceless Anthology

Ondine's memoir chronicling her journey with her twin boys with special-needs, The Miracle of Love, will be published by Allen & Unwin in May 2013. Stay tuned for further details.
