The Kangaroo Trail, a project initiated by 2006 Voiceless Grants Recipient the Australian Wildlife Protection Council.
The 2006 Voiceless Grants Program was an enormous success. On Thursday 22 February 2007, Voiceless awarded approximately $140,000 to a range of animal protection organisations, universities, councils and other non-profit groups. Acclaimed actor and Voiceless Ambassador, Hugo Weaving, presented the awards to the 2006 recipients at Sherman Galleries in Paddington. Morinda Australia is sponsoring a $10,000 grant towards a project aimed at alleviating the suffering of factory farmed animals. Bio-Distributors is contributing $5,000 towards a grant awarded to an initiative on humane education.The 2006 Voiceless Judging Panel consisted of: Ondine Sherman - Co-founder and Director, Voiceless.Brian Sherman AM - Co-founder and Director, Voiceless.
