Past Campaigns 29 October 2006 An unprecedented national advertising campaign launched this week will highlight the plight of factory farmed pigs in Australia. Using confronting visuals and graphic text, the campaign will ask the Australian public to face the truth about factory farming and to change their buying habits to give pigs a better life. The campaign marks a substantial dollar investment by leading national animal protection organisations. Animals Australia and Voiceless have joined with the Berg Family Foundation and Hunter Hall International Limited to form the ‘Prisons to Paddocks’ alliance. You can get active in stopping pig cruelty by going to Animals Australia's Save Babe website and making the Pro Pig Pledge. You will be committing not to buy or eat factory-farmed pork, bacon or ham products in a nation-wide call for change. You can also request printed postcards to give to your favourite eateries and local supermarkets. The "Recipe" campaign has recently was also featured in the Women's Weekly magazine (Dec 2006) and the Weekend Australian Magazine (25-26 November 2006).
