Make your Money Get Active for Animals |
|
|
|
The following is a list of our ‘animal friendly investment’ ideas:
- Consider animal protection issues when purchasing goods and services.
- To ensure that your investments are socially responsible, especially towards animals, be sure to consider all the various investments you may have, for example: superannuation, managed funds, direct shareholdings. Contact the financial product provider or a financial advisor and ask them for information about where your money is being invested.
- Seek investment advice from a professional financial adviser who specialises in sustainable responsible investment. Specialist SRI advisers generally offer all of the services of a mainstream adviser, but can also assist you to align your financial goals with your values and beliefs.
- Consider investing some or all of your superannuation in sustainable responsible investments.
- Invest directly with a sustainable responsible investment fund or funds.
- Consider opening a savings account with a socially responsible bank.
- Invest directly in companies in order to influence their corporate conduct by voting with your shares (shareholder activism/advocacy).
