people's choice! award

As part of the Voiceless Grants Program, we are now including a $10,000 grant to a project voted on by members of the public. The funding for the People’s Choice! comes from donations received by Voiceless from our supporters.

Thank you to everyone who voted for the 2008 People's Choice! and made your voice heard.

The People's Choice! winner for 2008 is:

Brightside Farm Sanctuary, Tasmania

Brightside Farm Sanctuary was awarded the hotly contested People's Choice! Award of $10,000 for their project to construct a‘Compassion Trail’.  The trail will lead visitors and school students through paddocks and animal habitats, give them an insight into the animals’ lives, provide information and photographs detailing the cruel facts about factory farming and encourage people to make more humane choices.
