$2,500 GRANTS Print E-mail

Christine Bond received a $2,500 grant for her One Mile Dam Project which aims to work with the residents in indigenous town camps in the Darwin region to improve the health and wellbeing of their companion animals by providing resources and increasing awareness of animal welfare.

Vegetarian/Vegan Society of Queensland received a $2,500 grant for the re-printing of ‘Boycott cruelty – go vegan’ brochures.  The ‘Boycott cruelty – go vegan’ booklet aims to create public awareness about animal protection issues and encourage the public to take action in their personal lives to help animals.

NSW Young Lawyers Animal Rights Committee received a $2,500 grant towards an Animal Law Conference, intended to raise awareness of animal rights issues within the legal profession and the wider community.
