Griffith University, with The University of Auckland, received a $15,000 grant for a project which will bring together the growing number of academics and practitioners currently working on animal law scholarship across Australia and New Zealand for a forum of discussion and debate over the legal issues facing animals in this part of the world. Participants will then each contribute to the production of the first major academic work on animal law to be published in the Southern Hemisphere.
