The 2005 Grants Program awarded $242,000 to a variety of animal protection organisations, universities, schools, councils, and individuals across Australia.

Voiceless announced the names of its 2005 grant recipients at an awards event in Paddington on Monday 5th December.  Please scroll down for a list of all recipients according to the amount received. 

The Sherman Family was joined by various Supporters and Sponsors in providing funding for the 2005 Grants Program.

The Body Shop have supported the Yugul Mangi Community with a $10,000 grant for an education and training program for the proper care of dogs.

Morinda Australia Pty Ltd have sponsored Griffith University with a $10,000 grant for their "Learning to Care, Education for Compassion" project.

Bio-Distributors have sponsored Edgar's Mission with a $5,000 grant for an interactive "Kindness Trail" through the mission.

The Voiceless Judging Panel consisted of:

Katrina Sharman - Voiceless Corporate Counsel.
Hugo Weaving - Voiceless Ambassador and highly praised Aussie actor.
