Voiceless Animal Advocates Print E-mail

If you are a law student who wants to make a difference to millions of lives, then you should consider becoming involved in Voiceless Animal Advocates (VAA).  VAA is a national network of university students across Australia who share a passion for animals.

The VAA network enables law students to:
  • Discuss current animal protection issues;
  • Develop tools for promoting compassion and respect for animals; and
  • Drive social and legal change so as to protect animals from suffering.

Most universities across Australia now have a VAA group on their campus.  VAA members dictate which issues to tackle and what action to take at their particular uni campus, with the support and guidance of Voiceless.  The aim is to raise awareness of animal protection issues and to inspire other students to get involved.

While VAA is currently focusing on law students and Animal Law reform, Voiceless soon hopes to expand VAA to encompass other university disciplines including veterinary science, politics and economics.

If you are a student in another faculty and not currently eligible to form a VAA at your campus, please do stay in touch with us.  You can subscribe to our mailing list and receive Voiceless’s e-updates to stay informed.
