Close encounters with wildlife!

On Monday the 20th of October, Grovelands Animal club had some people from Kanyana Wildlife Rehab Centre come and visit.  They brought along some wildlife animals for us to view and touch.

We were all excited at stroking Cougar the echidna and Princess Dusty the brush-tail possum.  The other animals were a blue-tongue lizard, a red-tail cockatoo, a tawny frogmouth, and a bilby.  It was exciting to see the Bilby because we had just finished raising money for the Bilby fund, and we know how rare these creatures are.

Getting up close with a friendly Echidna!
