Dogs Day Out

On Sunday 5th October 2008, the City of Armadale held their annual ‘Dogs Day Out’ event at Rushton Park in Kelmscott.  This day was organised and run by the Ranger Services of the City of Armadale and seeks to educate and promote responsible pet ownership in the community.  Entry to the event is free and all dogs on their leads are welcome.

There were many activities, such as face painting, and bouncy castles and many animal activists, vets and animal rescue groups were there too.

Here are some photographs of us with our
colouring in competitions.

To help promote this wonderful, educational, community focused event, the City of Armadale held a colouring competition, so at last weeks' Animal Club meeting, our members showed their support for this day by participating in this competition and each of us colouring in our own picture. Not all of us were able to finish our pictures during our meeting, so we took them home to complete and got them to the ranger later.
