University of Newcastle goes 'cage-free'

Voiceless, the fund for animals, congratulates the University of Newcastle for becoming Australia’s first educational campus to go ‘cage-free’.

The Board of the University of Newcastle Services has agreed to trial 100% usage of fresh ‘free-range eggs’ in campus food outlets from November 1st.

Peace with Earth helps give a voice to the voiceless

Officially launched today, the Peace with Earth 2008 edition ceramic olive oil decanter has been created due to a unique collaboration between Oliveria, Spacecraft and Voiceless, the fund for animals.

Now in its third year, Peace with Earth was conceived by Oliveria as an annual project to promote awareness of important charitable initiatives. VAA is a national network of university student societies which aims to increase awareness of the conditions in which animals live and to empower students to take action to protect animals from suffering.
